Countdown to #europe2017: two and a half months

Plans are coming together and my days are starting to fill up. I'm excited and enjoying the planning process as I work out the logistics of what I want to do in which city and when I want to do it and if I will have time. If you've been here before, you know that a few of my nights are already taken with two Phil Collins concerts in Paris and two Adele concerts in London, and now one night attending Agatha Christie's long running play "The Mousetrap". Cross that off my bucket list. I've also booked a couple of tours, this will help me maximize my time since I'm only in some cities for two or three days. I have an all-day tour that goes through Spain, Andorra and France; tiny Andorra, 'squee' (as a friend says); a half day tour in The Netherlands to see windmills and cheese making; and a tour through Anne Frank's neighborhood (I should double check that I get into the house as well). London is a little more relaxed since I have been there a few times before and don't have to rush around anywhere; and in Edinburgh, I will be in the hands of a friend who lives there, so I'm not stressing, although I hope to get back to Loch Ness. I am also 'training' to do some climbing, up to the top of the bell tower of Notre Dame (387 steps) and a repeat of my climb up the Eiffel Tower. I'm eager to try Spanish food, especially tapas and paella. You can check back for updates over the coming months and I hope to blog while I am traveling.

The last time I made a trip like this was back in 2006 when I went around the world in 49 days. I wrote a book, if you're interested, called Oh, You're a Vegetable. I've been told it's pretty entertaining.
